AI-Powered GoHighLevel Specialist
Role Overview
You'll be our go-to person for everything GoHighLevel. That means building and managing workflows, setting up sub-accounts, configuring SMS and phone numbers, deploying snapshots, and supporting clients directly. You'll also work with the AI features inside GoHighLevel conversation AI, appointment booking bots, and automated follow-ups to build smarter systems for our clients. This isn't a junior role. We need someone who's been deep in the platform for at least two years and can work independently across multiple client accounts.
Why Join Us?
You'll get to work on genuinely interesting automation projects not just cookie-cutter funnels. Our clients come from different industries, so the work stays fresh. You'll have real ownership over the GoHighLevel side of things, and you won't have someone looking over your shoulder every five minutes. If you're the kind of person who likes solving problems and building things that work, this is a good fit. Plus, we're investing heavily in AI-powered workflows, so you'll be working at the front edge of what the platform can do.
What You'll Do
- •Build, test, and maintain GoHighLevel workflows for client accounts from lead capture through to appointment booking and follow-up sequences
- •Configure and deploy snapshots across new and existing client sub-accounts
- •Set up and troubleshoot SMS campaigns, phone number provisioning (Twilio/LC Phone), and call routing
- •Onboard new clients into the platform: sub-account creation, domain setup, integration configuration, and initial training walkthroughs
- •Configure and optimise GoHighLevel's AI features Conversation AI, AI appointment booking, and automated response workflows
- •Manage client support requests related to their GoHighLevel account, troubleshooting issues quickly and clearly
- •Build and maintain automation triggers, pipelines, and opportunity tracking inside the CRM
- •Set up calendars, forms, surveys, and landing pages within GoHighLevel
- •Document workflows and processes so the team can replicate and scale what you build
- •Track your work and communicate progress through Slack and ClickUp daily
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- •2+ years hands-on GoHighLevel experience You've worked in the platform professionally, not just watched a few tutorials. You know sub-accounts, snapshots, workflows, triggers, pipelines, and the CRM inside out.
- •Snapshot deployment and management You've built, exported, and deployed snapshots across multiple client accounts. You know what transfers cleanly and what needs manual adjustment.
- •Workflow builder proficiency You can build multi-step workflows from scratch: triggers, conditions, wait steps, if/else branches, webhooks, and custom actions. You troubleshoot broken flows without being asked.
- •SMS and phone configuration You've set up Twilio or LC Phone numbers, configured SMS campaigns, managed A2P 10DLC registration, and handled call routing and voicemail drops.
- •Client onboarding experience You've taken a client from zero to fully operational inside GoHighLevel: sub-account setup, domain configuration, integrations, user permissions, and initial training.
- •GoHighLevel AI features You've worked with Conversation AI, AI-powered appointment booking, and automated follow-up sequences. You understand what the AI can and can't do, and you know how to configure it properly.
- •Client-facing communication You've dealt directly with clients: answering questions, explaining technical setups in plain language, and managing expectations. You don't hide behind tickets.
- •Slack and ClickUp You use Slack for daily communication and ClickUp (or similar project management tools) to track tasks, manage deadlines, and keep work visible. No one should have to chase you for updates.
- •Highly independent worker You take ownership of your tasks, solve problems without waiting for someone to tell you what to do, and flag issues early when something's off.
Bonus Experience (Highly Valued)
- •Strong written and spoken English You communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally. Your messages don't need to be deciphered. Bonus points if you're comfortable jumping on a quick call with a client to walk them through something.
- •Customer success or support background You've worked in a role where client satisfaction was your responsibility, not just task completion.
- •API and webhook experience You've connected GoHighLevel to external tools via API, Zapier, Make, or direct webhook integrations.
- •White-label or agency experience You've worked inside a GoHighLevel agency account managing multiple sub-accounts for different clients simultaneously.
- •Funnel and landing page building You can build conversion-focused pages inside GoHighLevel without needing a designer to hold your hand.
GoHighLevel Proficiency (Required)
You need working knowledge across the full platform, not just one or two features.

How to Apply
Critical
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected. You must submit ALL of the following:
1. Application Keyword
Include the keyword "SnapshotReady" in your application title or first line. This tells us you've read the full description.
2. Two-Minute Loom Video
Record a 2-minute Loom video covering:
- •Who you are and your background with GoHighLevel
- •How long you've been using the platform and in what capacity
- •Walk us through one project you're proud of what you built, what worked, what you'd do differently
- •Why you're interested in this role specifically
Share the Loom link in your application. Keep it to 2 minutes. We'll notice if you go over.
3. GoHighLevel Portfolio and Project Examples
Share links to what you've built. We want to see real work, not descriptions of it.
- •Links to GoHighLevel projects funnels, workflows, automations, snapshots, or client accounts you've worked on (screenshots are fine if live links aren't possible)
- •AI-specific examples show us where you've used AI features within GoHighLevel or built AI-powered workflows
- •A project that went well and one that didn't tell us what happened, what you learned, and what you'd change. We care more about honesty than perfection.
4. Your AI Workflow (150-200 words)
Explain how you currently use ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini in your work:
- •Specific tasks you use each tool for
- •How AI has improved your output or efficiency
- •An example of AI-enhanced work relevant to this role
5. High Agency Reflection (150-200 words)
After reading https://www.highagency.com/, answer: "What does high agency mean to you, and how do you demonstrate it in your role?"
Share a specific example of when you took initiative, solved a problem creatively, or pushed through obstacles without waiting for permission.
6. Workspace & Technical Verification
Submit verification of the remote work setup requirements listed above:
- •Photo of your workspace showing your desk, dual monitor setup, and work environment
- •Typing speed test screenshot (TypingTest.com or 10FastFingers.com must show WPM and accuracy)
- •Internet speed test screenshot (Fast.com or Speedtest.net must show download/upload speeds)
7. Answer These Questions
- 1.Snapshot strategy: Walk us through your approach to building a snapshot from scratch versus modifying an existing one. What do you always rebuild manually after deploying to a new sub-account?
- 2.Workflow troubleshooting: A workflow fires successfully in the logs but the contact never moves through the pipeline. How do you diagnose what's actually broken?
- 3.A2P 10DLC reality: A US client's SMS campaign keeps getting flagged or rejected during A2P registration. Walk us through how you'd handle it.
- 4.Conversation AI limits: Where does GoHighLevel's Conversation AI break down for you, and how do you work around it without losing the automation benefits?
- 5.Client onboarding: Describe your end-to-end process for taking a brand-new client from "we just signed the contract" to "your sub-account is live and working".
