AI Agency in Dunedin
Ential is an AI agency Dunedin firms work with when they want strategy, the build and staff training from the same small team.
We are headquartered in Brisbane, Australia and serve Dunedin remote-first across the Tasman, and we say that plainly. What we build is measured against a baseline we set with you at the audit.
Dunedin has a habit of making things the rest of the world notices. The Dunedin sound came out of student flats and onto Flying Nun records, the University of Otago is New Zealand's oldest, and game studios now cluster around the Centre of Digital Excellence. The frustration we hear locally is ordinary: clever tools bought, then nobody had time to wire them in.
The remedy is simple to describe: audit first and free, a price tied to outcomes and agreed in writing before work begins, then training until your own people run it. Otago clocks run 2 hours ahead of Brisbane, 3 in your summer. A 90-day gate measures each build against where you started.

What You Get With Ential
The Planners Are the Builders
A plan that never ships is an expensive document. The people who audit your workflows also build them on Claude, OpenAI, n8n and Supabase, then train your staff. A single team carries the work from first call to handover, so whoever scoped the job answers for whether it runs, and nothing is lost between stages.
Fees Fixed in Writing Up Front
The audit measures what each manual process costs, and the outcome-based price goes in writing before anything is built. There is no retainer and no clock running. Training is included, the IP is yours from handover, and every account sits in your organisation's name, so nothing depends on keeping us around afterwards.
In Step With the Academic Year
Dunedin swells every February when students pour back for O-Week, then empties after November exams. Landlords, cafes, retailers and service firms all feel the swing. We build intake, booking and follow-up that stretch to meet the rush and idle through the quiet months, so your staffing does not have to chase the academic calendar.
Dunedin is a university city with a Scottish accent and a habit of punching above its size. The University of Otago, founded in 1869 as New Zealand's first university, still sets the town's rhythm, from the O-Week rush every February to graduation processions down George Street. The new Dunedin Hospital is rising on the old Cadbury site, Port Otago ships the South's exports from Port Chalmers, and the Centre of Digital Excellence has built a small game-development scene. Around those anchors sit hundreds of smaller firms carrying big workloads. Ential helps them automate the admin, working from Brisbane, remote-first, on outcomes agreed in writing.
